Voice Communication Interface (VM Panel)

The VM-PMI paging microphone Interface provides controls for emergency voice/alarm communication.  The VM-PMI consists of:

(1) Audio mounting bracket

(1) EAEC Emergency Audio Evacuation Controller card

(1) Enclosure

(1) Paging microphone

The VM-MFK adds controls for two-way firefighter telephone voice communication.  The Master Firefighters Telephone Kit include the folowing parts that are added to the VM-PMI:

(1) Single riser interface Class B or Class A

(1) Red handset

Note:  The ACHS Audio Channel Selector Card is required to convert digital audio from the microphone to analog preamp audio.  The preamp audio is then fed to the SIGA-AA30/50 audio amplifier card.

Note: The VM-PMI is required in addition to the VM-MFK for a complete paging and two-way fire fighter telephone voice communication system.  The VM-PMI adds microphone capability and the VM-MFK adds two-way telephone voice communication capability.  When using Class-B telephone voice communication connect to TB1 B+ and B- on the EAEC card (included with the VM-PMI).  When using Class-A telephone voice communication connect to TB1 B+ and B- on the EAEC card and return on TB1 A+ and A-.
